You can call it Saging con yelo or banana con yelo or plantain with ice. Its Sweet and perfect for a hot summer day and its easy to prepare.
Boil the plantains first for about 10 minutes. Place water and brown sugar into casserole. Turn the heat to medium then cook the sugar until it melt. Peel then add Plantains into casserole then stir. When plantains are coated with caramel that you made then turn the heat off and let it cool for 2-5 minutes.
Then add 2-3 pcs. of caramel coated plantain in a small bowl. Add a cup of crushed ice on top and add some evaporated milk. Enjoy!
- 1/2 or 1 kilo Plantain ( Banana Saba )
- 1/2 kilo Brown Sugar
- Evaporated Milk ~ or Fresh Milk if you want
- Crushed Ice
